Last, but far from least, I paid for the truck , drove it to Greenville mall, shopped for about 30 minutes and when I got back to the truck, it would not start. I had to leave it there overnight, came back the next morning and it started, then drove it home and when I got home and tried to start it again , the same thing happened. I have numerous witness to this fact and We finally carried it to Feyer Ford and had it fixed. He says he never had a problem with it. I find it extremely hard to believe because, the man at Feyer Ford showed me the part that was broke and he said that it was "wear and tear" and it was not something that happens suddenly!
The truck is repaired now at our unexpected expense.
I felt like Frank at C&D auto sales was a honest person because he kept talking about his Christianity , however don't be fooled! When the bank pulled up the car fax they told me that they had some concerns but, I went with my gut feeling and told them that he was very Christian and I believed he was honest. Part of the deal was that he would have the truck detailed before I picked it up and he would have me the spare set of keys. When I arrived , it was not detailed and he said he accidently left the set of keys at home and he would have them for me the next day, to come pick them up when I came back to Greenville. Well the truck never got detailed and we have called and gone there to get the keys and first he tried to say that he already gave them to me , then he said that he never told me that and now his most recent answer was" I can't find them, what do you want me to do?" My answer was get me a set made. He said no" I can't do that" "I marked the truck down 500.00 for you." This is another false statement because I paid exactly what he asked for it on Craigslist. I told him that I would get a set made and bring him the bill and he said" Go ahead, you won't get any money from me."
When I called him back, he hung the phone up on me! He says this was his personal truck so it isn't like he did not " know" the truck. He also was aware that this was for my daughter to haul her horse up and down the road to horse shows which can entail thousand mile trips. How can a man do this and be well aware that this young lady could be stranded at anytime.
